In the words of Salt-N-Pepa, "Let's talk about sex, baby! My inspiration to help others started with my personal rollercoaster ride at the theme park called fluctuation land. My weight gain started to impact my sex life negatively. I was no longer able to do the things I once was, and let's not talk about trying new things; it just wasn't going to happen.

Sex, while not the most crucial part of a relationship, a noticeably big part of it became boring. I could not do many positions because I was not flexible enough and could not do other positions because it required a lot of stamina, which I did not have. Something had to change fast!

I knew what I needed to do. I needed to fix my eating habits and become more active. My lifestyle was causing the problem. I was always too tired, in too much pain from carrying so much excess weight, and stiffer than a pair of freshly starched pants. Sex was more of a chore if I'm being honest! I started to be more intentional with the food I put into my body. I made sure even while at work, I got up and walked around the office more. I committed to walking and strength training at least three times a week. I reminded myself at every breakdown that I was running a marathon and not a sprint. I not only wanted to lose weight, but I wanted to keep it off.

Your sex life can be as great or limited as you want it to be. It's your choice. After all, it is your sex life. What I can tell you is that the sexual experience is better when you are healthy. Not just for you but for your spouse too.

Common causes of unhealthy living are as follows: Fatigue, poor nutrition, muscle, and joint tightness, Erectile dysfunction, vaginal dryness. All these things can be fixed or managed with the proper nutrition and exercise routine. "A healthy balance of vitamins and minerals keeps your endocrine system humming, which in turn regulates the production of the hormones estrogen and testosterone, essential for sexual desire and performance," says Cammi Balleck, Ph.D., a naturopathic physician, and author of Making

Happy Happen.

I pray this was helpful to you.

Go be great and have great sex!
